By the way, what "best benefit at all time," as you mentioned, the ESI beneficiaries will get in lieu of the already admissible benefits to them? Rather, in other words, without Aadhar No, as is voluntary only, not mandatory, the ESI beneficiaries will be denied even their presently permissible genuine rights by the ESI after 30 days. In the absence of Aadhar card, the beneficiary will have to carry Government issued Photo identity card along with ESI's e-Pehchan Card. The question arises, why to take two ID proofs? Does not the ESI recognise its own e-Pehchan Card in the absence of the Government issues Photo Identity Cards. Moreover, the letter says, the Aadhat based authentication of the beneficiaries under ESI Act is IN ADDITION to the Biometric Pehchan Card based authentication. So, what is the use of e-Pehchan Card/ Biometic Pehchan Card, if additional authentication is also necessary through Government issued ID proof?
In fact, the authorities are creating not only a jungle of pehchaan cards, including Aadhar Card, but also creating more and more problems in the life of employees. Rather I can say, these tactics can become the source of corruption for the authorities before they allow genuine benefits to the employees.
Even in my case, when registered for Aadhar card in July 2011, the UIDAI lost data. When I tried to register in August 2015, the franchisee of UIDAI sent wrong data, so the UIDAI did not issue any Aadhar Card both times. In my wife's case for address change, the franchisee of the UIDAI transmitted the wrong address. So, now she has the NIRADHHAR Aadhar with wrong address!
I had also to register 3rd time with some other franchisee. But when I registered for change of address on 1st May 2016, the data is still missing in the UIDAI even after completion of one month. SO, WHERE IS THE QUESTION OF RELINCE ON THE UIDAI's NIRADHAR Aadhar cards? When the Aadhar Card also need some aadhar (base) for registration, like DOB, address proof, identity of the registrants, and also issued at wrong address, where that can be treated as Aadhar Card. IT IS ONLY NIRADHHAR Card!
Finally, the question arises, when Aadhar card is voluntary, why compulsion is created by over-enthusiastic Government and PSU authorities? Why people appreciate such things and are found quite eager only to comply the vague orders of the authorities without raising any question? I WINDER, WHY TRADE UNIONS OR THE EMPLOYERS ARE KEEPING TOTAL SILENCE OF SUCH VAGUE ISSUES AND ISSUE OF UNWARRANTED DIRECTIONS BY THE AUTHORITIES IN POWER ON SUCH TYPE OF MISUSE OF THEIR POWERS?
