do i want to know leave encashment in every month is compulsory if i didn't want leave encashment in every month if have any law ?
because our company having a policy of leave encashment for every month it is legal or illegal ?

Could you please help me in understanding if an employee is on planned leave for couple of days and want to extend the leaves, what does the law say, should that leave be Leave Without Pay even though they have leaves in their kitty?

My DOJ is 1st Jan and getting confirmed on 1st July so now I am eligible for PL/EL. so fo half year 7.5 days PL will be credited in my account on 1st Jul. Is this calculation for PL entitlement is from DOJ till my confirmation date or from 1st Jul till 31 Dec.

7.5 days E/leave will be for the period from DOJ to 31 july.
In March 2013 My Company made new policy and frozen earned leaves maximum 60@March 2013 gross salary and declared that money will be paid at the time of leaving the company. New leaves will be accumulated upto 60 from April 2013 onwards @ latest gross salary at the time of leaving.
Now concern is that either company should have paid that money in 2013 itself and as it was not paid that time so it should be paid on latest gross, now at the time of leaving.
Please give your opinion that which govt authority will look into this issue

Dear sir Pls provide EL calculation on total only working days (physical present days) or EL/PL, PH,other holiday including. As we know 1EL =2O Present days Pls clear.
Can an employee will take half day leave from Earned Leaves? pls advise.
