Respected All,
Could you please tell me what are the qualities / expertise / skills of an HR Executive...?
An HR Executive should possess as such expertise. Sir, I am not asking about HR Manager or HR Assistant. My question about Interim career HR Executive.
Now I am working here in Dubai as HR Executive having 4 yr experience But, I want to move up to extend my career from HR Executive to Assistant HR Manager & so on.... that's why I need your guidance.
When I receive your comments then I will evaluate myself. Ofcourse, I must develop my skills first after that I will find another job for the position of Asst. Manager / HR Manager.
Best regards,

In order to grow up the ladder, one needs to be very much focused. See particularly in HR after the executive phase, you need to choose one direction. You can be either a Generalist HR or a Specialist HR.Firstly lets talk about the generalist HR.In case you wish to take up this option then you need to pick up new skills gradually and master yourself in all the aspects of the HR.For this at the end of very month, you should have one new skill to add to your resume. That means you are progressing in the right direction. This is difficult but not IMPOSSIBLE.

Then the second option can be Specialist HR for which you need to pick up one are of HR which should be your interest area and specialize in all its levels over the period of time. For e.g recruitments, compensation & benefits etc.

Now the choice entirely lays in your hands.Prior to ending would like to mention that the Generalist HR can even reach to the level of the MD’s of the organization , if they have right aptitude, skills and the knowledge.

ALL THE BEST!

Hi,
According to me all the qualities of a Hr executive should be there of an HR manager as it is through the ladder of success from Hr executive that one reaches to the level of HR Manager.
With the exception that HR Manager is more refined with his expereince.
Secondly how can you judge yourself .Perceptions differ from person to person as a result we have so many schools of thought.
Lastly you can always try to inculcate those qualities which is missing from the seniors .
With warm regards
