My wife is working as a teacher in a Delhi school. She is proceeding abroad on vacation leave for 47 days during the summer break. The school is threatening not to pay her salary for this period. Last summer also she was not paid summer break salary, saying that she hadn't completed a year in service and it was the school's policy not to do so. (She had joined them in Sept 2014).
Please educate me on the rule position. I would be grateful if you could also quote the relevant authority for her to take up the matter with the school.
