Hi iam arvind iam working for top MNC from 1.7 year. Before this company i started with a small company as a trainee i worked there for 3.4 years, now my current comany did background verification as i cleared one top bank project client interview . they found out my previous company was giving fake experienece documents, so my current company gave show cause notice to sumbit form 16 and all bank slips of entire period with dead line of 4 days, problem is iam not aware imp of form 16 in that firm and never collected it even my old bank account is also closed long back.and i contacted my previous company HR he said its time taking process as he has to check in company database i updated this infrmation with my current company HR with mail conversation as proof but they are not giving me any time i dont have any option to submit form 16 &bank statements till deadline what are my options? i actually planned to shift comany after 3 months as 2 years will complete in this organization shall i resign the company now if i resign now what may be the concequences?

You can attach that email communication with your previous employer and seek sufficient time from present employer to produce the documents.
You can say that, these documents would have been demanded within one or two months of joining the company, as the previous company HR department was changed and you do not have any control with that company presence anymore now. So the delay of 1 1/2 years caused by the present company. so submit the request letter to provide sufficient ( put no of days) time to collect the documents and produce the same.
