Hello, can anybody let me know the rule for 90 days of maternity leaves are including weekly off or not. thanks, Sheela.

Maternity leave is for 84 days and not 90 days as per the existing law and of this 84 days are including all holidays and weekly off days. Madhu.T.K

Dear Sheela, The Maternity leave is calculated on calendar days and not working days.... So everything is included.

Maternity Leave will be for 12 weeks (12 x 7 days = 84 days).
If you calculate wages for 30 days, the payable amount will be: Month salary / 30 x 84 days.
If you calculate the salary for 26 days, the payable amount will be: Month salary / 26 days x 84 days.
