I am working in Manufacturing industry as Sr.HR Executive. One employee suicided due to his personal reason in his home after work. He worked in our company for about 7 years his last drawn CTC: 15000PM. He was eligible for PF and ESI. What is the action need to take in this scenario. Kindly describe it briefly.

Sir, in respect of ESI Benefits, any of the family member of deceased insured person can claim reimbursement of funeral expenses-maximum Rs.10000/- from concerned Branch Office of ESIC. The claimant family member of deceased insured person can contact the branch office alongwith the Permanent Identity Card and original death certificate of said covered employee.
