Whether it is mendatory to take 2 Shop and Establishment Licenses for the Group Companies working on the same address/Office ? or we can take 1 in any name and apply for Professional Tax Registration for al the group companies. The query is for Gujarat Circle.

I think the Gujarat shop and establishment act requires you to apply for registration under the act for each individual company and office. There is no minimum number of employees required for the applicability of the act. So as long as you have even one employee for that Comoany, you need a separate license
