Hi All,
I am working as Admin Exec. In a recent interview I was asked to make responsibilities table related to my current job.
which describes my job responsibilities in brief which I had mentioned in my resume.
Is there any format available?? I am not sure how can i describe those points in brief

Dear Anonymous,

There is a common mistake that 99% people do while making their resume.

You as like others all , mention Job Responsibilities in your resume.

Job responsibility is actually what is expected of you from the profile that your are being offered or currently working on, whereas most people take it as what they are actually doing, both are totally different things .

Shikhar Dhawan's Job Responsibility is to start the innings and make runs and give a decent start to India. What he does is, gets out after making 10 or 15 runs and that too in 1st 2 or 3 overs. I hope you understand what I mean.

Now back to your question, what I feel is that the interviewer is actually asking you about your daily activities that you are performing and not what is expected of you. There is no format for these answers but I would suggest to mention all the things that you do on regular basis, its impact on overall business of your company and its importance. Keep in mind to highlight achievements from your duties. e.g. as an Admin Exce. you might have reduced electricity bill by 5% by switching off unnecessary light during day time, or might have repaired old furniture which could be reused by not expending on new chairs, some more examples like these.

Motive behind these type of questions is to understand your view about the profile and initiatives taken by you to improve things.
