I am working in Polaris FT. I have resigned on 25th Feb 2016 and provided a notice period of two months, my LWD being 25th April. The policy is of 90 days notice period, but I have informed HR about surrendering a month's salary. But they have identified my replacement resource who is onboarding on 10th May, wheareas I am joining my new organization on 9th May. Polaris is not ready to relieve me without transition of my project to the new resource. Please please suggest what should I do.
Make a request in writing for early relieving to polaris and also intimate your new employer about your current situation in polaris. Send them ( new employer ) a copy of your resignation acceptance by polaris and seek one weeks time extension for joining. There is no need to panic but keep every body informed and be in touch with HR of new company. Genuine requests are always entertained its my experience in such case.
