Hi All,
Greeting for the day!!
I am setting up Performance Appraisal for the first time in our company.
Our Management has opted Rating Scale method as our method of Performance Appraisal.
Procedure/process everything is done and maintained in soft copy only.
As a part of HR, should i prepare any reports about performance Appraisal .
Please suggest me.

Hello Vidya,
It's good that you are handling performance appraisal for the first time. But your query is not clear. Is your company a manufacturing company ? Hope as an HR you have completed the procedure of appraisal or has someone else done it ? Once ratings are collected from HODs, HR is expected to use it to calculate merit increments etc.
Kindly clarify what reports you are asking about. Please feel free to contact me on 94223 11441, if required.
With best regards,
Vaishalee Parkhi

Dear Vidya,
If you have instituted Performance Appraisal (PA) then three things are important. First one is do you measure that deserves to be measured. Secondly, are the measurements accurate and lastly what is the average performance of all the employees?

Miss Vidya,
Greetings from Prodigy Technologies.
for performance evaluation you should prepare documents on how to use the appraisal sheets/ parameters.
the standard Dos and Donts and update this document every now and then to make it more comprehensive.
The document can also contain the parameters at individual level/ department level.
Hope this reply is satisfactory else you can drop me a mail at
mail@prodigytechnologies.in or call 09665050355
