My ex employer has denied paying me for my earned leaves
Hi i need advice and guidance on a matter of earned leave. my ex employer has denied paying me for my earned leaves stating that under company policy it is not allowed to encash the earned leaves for people who have stayed less than a year in the company. my query is if this is a legal and valid policy to implement. also no such condition is mentioned in my offer letter and they are also not sharing the policy document with me. on the premise that i am an ex employee now and i cannot have access to company policies. please guide and help.

As per telangana shops and establishment we need to give 15 earned leaves and 12 casual leave and 12 sick leaves but big companies like wipro infosis etc give 24 or 25 leaves a year . my company wants to know how are the leave policy framed and if not aligned to telangana shops and establishments act. how and why they are not adhering to telangana shops and establishments act. can someone please help me understand how to come up with leaves for an private hyderabad based company. do we follow shops and establishment act or not required.
Earned leave / sick leave compensation against notice period.
I am working with an engineering mnc registered in mumbai ihave resigned and serving notice period of three months. i have 54 earned leaves 30 sick leaves and 7 casual leaves. i am told by my superiors that i cannot surrender my earned leaves against notice period for reduction in notice period and at the same time i cannot avail the earned leave also. in our company the earned leave cannot be compensated by cash and it can be carry forwarded for two years. please guide that is there any policy of government for earned leave compensation. can i take any legal recourse if i am not allowed to surrender my earned leaves or sick leaves against notice period and also not allowed to avail the earned leave during notice period.

Dear all pl help me to get solution for this. till now could not find any relevant post on this. company has issued appointment letter with different t&c for different employees. for instance for one employee they gave 20 earned leave for a year and for other employee they gave 30 earned leaves for a year. in this condition i want to make a policy that all employees will be given only 25 earned leaves per year. if this step is taken how suitable will it be from legal point of view? if i change leave policy like this those who are getting 30 earned leaves may start questioning like.. on what grounds such leaves have been shortened after being specified in their t&c. pl enlighten me how can i cope with such serious issue. :
