Dear All,
I need to know is Employee Health Check-ups Important in an Organization ? if so then why ?
and also what are the measures which should be taken in account ?
And If a way to track a the reports of all the employees is provide then how much beneficial it will be for an Organization ?
I am Working in a Healthcare Company and providing the facilities mentioned above to an Organization, so just curious about it.

Its very important for an Organization that there employees are healthy and there health comes first when to it comes to the employee welfare. Health check ups and keeping the track of health records of the employees are important and OHM helps in doing that, we have done the health checkups in our organization and now its turn for all the Organization irrespective of the size of the company
Health is wealth, ultimately what company wants productivity from employees. Healthy and sound employee are asset

It has become mandatory. Inface to my knowledge, I think big factories insist on appointment a medical officer on a regular basis to ensure the employees health and safety. We also have tie-up with one of the leading hospitals for annual health check-up and also for Pre-employment medical check-up.
In our set-up it is subject to audit too so we ensure employees routine health check-up.

@Nathrao Sir: It was a polite question as i started working in a Healthcare company and i will be working on providing Health check-ups to Corporate, but as i am new so wanted to know the potential of the same.
As our company is proving the service to Accenture(branch: Hyderabad and NCR Region), so my curiosity was to know about which tier/level company are seeking to avail these facility for their company.
Rather i would say that right now i am just collecting the information but later will also be advertising/working for the same.
FYI: Our Company also won in a summit held by Bio Asia on 10th Feb 2016

Frequency of periodic health check-up is defined in factories rules, mines act & rules etc. It varies from once in 6 months(for working in hazardous process) to once in 3 years (for example in mines act). Though Shop & Establishment act does not defined the periodicity of employee health check-up, it is prudent to carry out the same. The periodicity can be determined based on the health risk assessment considering various parameters such as age, job profile, job location etc. Even in IT industry (in this case Accenture), if your employees are posted in factory location, they should also be subjected for half yearly or yearly checkup. Various studies have indicated ROI in range of 1:1 to 1:8.
