Hi,
My uncle passed away few days back and he was working in a private concern at the time of death. His family wants to withdraw the PF amount and we came to know that there is a lump sum amount in Pension Contribution. Is my aunt, who is the nominee, eligible to withdraw the entire amount (EPF + EPS) ? Please tell me the procedure.

Hi Buddy,
Yes, your aunt eligible to get PF and can claim monthly pension for the you have to fill the following form and submit the same to provident fund corporation
1. Form:20 (Claiming PF)
2. Form:10D (Claiming Monthly Pension)
3. Form:5 IF (Claiming Employee deposit linked Insurance)
4. Death Certificate
5. photographs of claimants duly attested by employer.
6. Proof of DOB of claimant for pension benefits.
7. Letter by employer declaring claimant as legal heir.
8. Form:3A- current years contribution by employee and employer.
All the forms has to be signed by employer and submit the above forms to provident fund corporation.
