Dear Seniors,
I'm bit confuse to decide in one instance, please guide me.
One of the employees has took leave on 31st December-Friday and we have off on 1st January-Friday and 2nd January-Saturday, 3rd January-Sunday. Now he is on leave on 4-1-2016-Monday.
So shall I apply Sandwich rule on him as month changes?
Warm Regards,
Sneha

Yes you can.
If your policy states that if any employee avails leave both on prefix & suffix to the declared holidays is considered as leave even on declared then yes.
Some companies will not consider as leaves on Saturday & Sunday
