I joined as a fresher in a small organization last year and had to sign a 1 year bond, CTC informed to me and mentioned in papers is 3LPA, and the break up provided was 20k + 5k(variable, to be provided annually- based on performance). Now, since I am about to complete 1 year, they have increased my salary. My concern is, how can I take that 60k(marked as variable). There is no PF, gratuity, nothing, just 5k is marked as variable and CTC is marked as 3LPA. I am a little confused in this regard, is there a way to extract that 60k which is included in CTC?
Dear Senior, thanks for your views, actully at the time of joining, I was told that this 60k will be at year end in form of appraisal, now, I have got an appraisal of 5k. Now I am sort of confused as in there will be no account of remaining 45k.(60-15 which I'll get in 3 months, becuase I have only worked for 9months as of now and hv got an appraisal). So, is there something that I can complain to?
They have used the appraisal to restrict your variable to 5K instead of 45K. Reach out to your HR and seek clarity as to the reason for the variable being so low. There would be a formula for variable pay out. Ask them the details of the formula and as to why you have been deprived of 40K
