This is a part of my assignment where i need support from you. Please do add your thoughts and commends for my humble post.
Through the course of my studies and through the small discussions with a few HR managers i find that recruitment is one of the most interesting as well as the most difficult work that a HR person does. I say this because,-
* finding the right person is really difficult because most of those who comes in for an interview are prepared to pretend and deceive the interviewer.
* getting to know what is the real self of the person is difficult as the HR too is a human being with no supernatural powers.
* finding the right person within the given time limit is the next challenge.
* since there are highly skilled individuals they too have a lot of opportunities, to retain them its another great task.

also Diliya, i think there should be compelling offers provided by the company or else these people are not going to retain in the organization. and that can be done by the management only. We the HR are jammed in between the management and the employees. all the best for your assignment.

Challenges that a recruiter face are not only so much. there are problems like, finding a employees who will remain loyal to the organizational culture is the major risk. there are also many people who take up the offer letter but they don't join which creates trouble for people like us. another aspect i find is that the candidates have high expectation from the job and the organisation. we are the first impression makers which gives us the responsibility to maintain their expectations.
