What is the provision of gratuity payment calculation in a death case
Dear sir what is the provision of gratuity payment calculation in a death case? example: one employee at the age of 35 died due to natural death and his total service in the organization is 1 year so my question is how many years of gratuity is payable as per act? is it till retirement or a year of service? would appreciate it if you share legal act documents. thanks himmatsinh zala

Hello just am wondering as per gratuity calculators as well as formulas give even in various sections here. there is talk of basic d.a for calculation of gratuity. just want to know if grade pay has to be included in the calculation or left out. secondly is the cap at 3.5 lahks still applicable or has it already been revised to 10 lakhs. response to the same will be highly appreciated. regards
