Weekly off is compulsory to all workers?
Dear members at present casuals worker are working in my organization and we are paying weekly basis salary but we are not paying weekly off payment... we are following no work no pay system... the quotation is if we are going to modify the monthly salary weekly off is applicable are not. weekly off is compulsory to all workers?... regards

Sir we have been employing workers on daily wages basis for contineously for more than 3 years but not paying weekly off. but we pay double ot if they are ask to come for work and we also pay public holiday. for workers who are working for 6 days should get paid weekly off? is the rule of 240 days in a year applicable to them to become permanent workmen? if so which act i have to refer? any notification towards such applicability?

Weekly off problem- please advise
Dear all unable to solve it without your guidance. giving below the situation. . in our sales department we have 5 employees who are given separate weekly off considering the business requirement. example: employee a weekly off: monday employee b weekly off: tuesday employee c weekly off: wednesday employee d weekly off: thursday employee e weekly off: friday therefore they are asked to come on sunday. now assume if "employee b" takes leave on monday and comes to work on tuesday where he was supposed to be on off what should be done in such scenario. at the end of month they usually ask to adjust their such leaves with their weekly off days. please help on this thanking you in anticipation.

" please specify the correct rule.
Policy for swapping the weekly off with their working days
Hi all i have joined the new company as a hr manager so they have one rules that they can swap their weekly off. here this facility is only for the support team which is working for 24x7 and their weekly off are given on other day of the week not sunday. so if they want any leave they just go on swaping their weekly off according to their weekly off with leaves so ultimately there are no leaves when they want them so for this i have to frame the policy . so please help me for this.
