Hi guys i need your help. we have an employee who was on boarded last year november 2011. we have issued the appointment letter to her with xyz name eventhough her pan cards & other id proofs mentioned is abc name we did this due to her request. now the employee is requesting for the revised appointment letter having the name i want to know whether we can issue new appointment letter with the name changed or not. if yes please help me with the sample. thanks mona

Hi all i have gone through lots of discussion threads where two terms are always referred i.e. offer letter and appointment letter. my question is: 1. what is the difference between an offer letter and an appointment letter? one difference that i know is company issues an offer letter to candidates after selection and the candidate can accept or reject the same. and once an employee joins the company then on the doj company provides an appointment letter. please let me know if there is any other difference? 2. from the legal aspect what is the difference between an offer letter and an appointment letter? 3. many employers don t provide appointment letters why?
