Hi Friends, Today i attended one interview for the post of HR Executive in manufacturing sector. to know about the payroll and salary structure and drafting policy.I told i am handling Hr Recruitment,employee engagement,Admin work.I didn't handle the payroll,salary structure,drafting policy. I want to learn Friends and to know how to put payroll,Salary structure etc.,

Salary Structure is different from industry to industry, but according to the minimum wages act 1948 can determine the Basic wages and Dearness allowance.Then we can add other allowances like which is suitable for our industries.also here you can find some payroll structure for your reference.
Salary Structure Includes:
1.Basic
2.Dearness Allowance
3.House Rent Allowance (HRA)
4.Allowances Like (Washing Allowance,Mobile Allowance,Special Allowance,Medical Allowance etc...
5 Conveyance
Deductions
1.EPF
2.Esic
3.Professional Tax
4.Tds
5.Any other Deductions Like (Loan,Advance,Misc)
Other Earning
1.Bonus

Hi Guys!
If some company working under Minimum wages,Contract Labour Act, they are using Dearness allowance.But Shop& establishment act they offensively use HRA for salary structure.
Anyway salary should not be their below in minimum wages.

Hello Murali, Hr's core role is engagement, employee welfare,drafting HR policies. How about considering outsourcing the payroll management to a vendor. We have been in the payroll space for over 15 years and it would be good to explore the possibility of working.
