Credit of leaves in notice period
Hi all i has come across a hypothetical situation where employees are having to serve a noitce period of 23 months during this period. in such cases i have a question where the full and final settlement happens for the employee where even leaves are counted and credited to the employee in form of basic salary what happens in the 3 months of notice period? will leaves be credited for that period as well? please post your comments on this.. thanks vijay paidipalli

Hi guys i was working for a private company & i resigned & didnt serve notice period as my new assignment demanded immediate joining have 58 leaves pending but company says we dont have policy to encash leaves would like to know if there is any basic law wherein we can ask company to consider certain amount of accumulated leaves....also company is asking for 1 month salary however i think it should be only basic component of salary & not entire salary...please suggest....thanks in advance... regards: hitesh d
Leaves during notice period - lop or can they can extend my notice period?
Hi all am working in service providing company in chennai i decided to resign my job my notice period is 60 days in my resignation mail letter confirmation i have accepted to serve my notice period for 60 days. while serving my notice period i had taken 5 days leave & i have done my pending work & all. 1. whether they can extend my notice period or not ? 2. if they can consider as lop these 5 days why i have to extend ? 3. right now i don t want to continue my notice period can i serve 50 days notice period with notice recovery of 10 days or not. can i ask to hr do to like that is this correct or not ?
Advice needed for resigning
Dear sir i have been working in an organisation as a manager for the past 8 years and 30 years old. i would like to resign due to personal reasons. i have got 45 days leave in my account till march 2011 and another 20 days leave this year. in this scenario i want to know if the same can be used as part of notice period as i have sincerely worked for the organisation all these years. also my immediate boss is not accepting my resignation saying not to come with a resignation letter again. since i have a very cordial relation with my boss i can t bypass him to forward my resignation letter to my hr directly. considering that i give my resignation letter today let me know if i can use my pending leaves as part of my notice period. or should i apply for a leave encashment and get them encashed and then also serve the notice period. i have 3 months notice period since i am a permanent employee. i would like to serve my full notice period to finish off my activities in a cordial way so that i can maintain the good relation with my company. but need advice on the way how i can use my pending leaves. srinithy
Legal case in case of leaving company without notice period
Hi. i was working in company for 5year 6month. i resigned company. the gave me notice period for 2 months but i requested already that \"i have uncontrollable problems so release me early.\" i attend my 20 days of my notice period. and i left the company without completing my notice period. but i already mentioned in my 2nd application that \"i am not going to serve my notice period. i am ready to pay for the remaining days of my notice period. so adjust the pay with my salary or with my pending leaves.\" but company were hold my salary for the month. not responding for any latter. they are telling me that we are not going to clear your case. they are not accepting my exit formalities. now i am in mess that company is not giving me the releaving letter my experience latter my salaryleaves. and my gratuity too... how should clear all my formalities.. edit/delete message
Leave policy and resignation notice period
Please suggest me that in case an employee resigns and the resignation period being one month and the employee has also applied for his privilege/ earned leaves for a week or two during his notice period as well and still has left with leaves in his leave bank. kindly guide me whether we shall include or exclude leave period from his notice period and take the effect date of the notice period after his leaves are over as there is no mentioning in the leave policy that the leaves if granted during the resignation period shall be included/ excluded in the resignation period.
