When will the salary be paid to an employee who is serving his notice period? for example a person resigns on 15th aug and is on 30 days notice period. now when will he be paid the salary for the month of august and when will the f&f be given to him? please clarify..

Notice period pay retrieval from salary - labour department issues?
Dear friends one of my employee has resigned and he has been relieved on his request from his duties after serving 2 months notice period instead of 3 months. we have paid his salary for the 1st month during np and 2nd month salary is not paid as he has not served the 3rd month np and we want to compensate his salary for that. what will be the consequences for this as the employee is saying that he complain to department of labour relations. please assist me in this regard asap. regards prasad.

I have a query regarding notice period. i recently resigned from my organization and submitted the resignation letter stating that i would be serving the required notice period of 1 month. later in the day the hr informed me that there is no need to serve the notice period and i have been relieved from my services with immediate effect. they also informed me that my last months salary would be deposited in a months time. i asked them the reason for the same to which they replied as administrative routine. they also told me that my relieving and experience letter will be handed in a month. later when my salary came there were many deductions in it. also since the management decided for me not to serve the notice period they should have ideally paid me the next month s salary also which they denied to do. how can i proceed in such a situation???

Hi all i have resigned from my current organisation and as per the resignation clause "either i have to serve the 2 month notice period or i have to buy out the same" now i have already done with my 1 month of notice period and would like to buy the notice period of next 1 month. my 2 month salary is alredy on hold with employer and i told them to deduct the 1 month salary and release me with 1 month of notice period. but they deny to do that and they forcing me to do the 2 month notice period with the company. pls suggest me should i take any legal action against them and what i can do...need help urgently...

Dear sir/madam i was working as manager in an mnc in chennai. as per my offer letter notice period stipulation is as follows. you shall give the organisation atleast two month s notice of your intention to resign. the organisation reserves the right to accept your resignation with immediate effect at any time during the notice period. the organisation shall be entitled to terminate your employment at any time on giving one month s notice or without any notice on payment of one month s salary in lieu of notice. despite this the ceo terminated my services without any giving me 1 month notice or 1 month salary in lieu of notice. in such situation am i eligible for 1 month salary in lieu of notice. kindly guide me what measures are available to me. best regards vinay
