I have been working in a company for eight years and nine months. However, after I had a baby I opted for flexi, which I did for only three months and then I resigned from my company all together due to child care. As I was doing flexi my remuneration was exactly half for last three months of my service in the MNC. Please advise how should my gratuity be calculated? Will it be based on my last flexibasic payment salary or according to my original pay which I had for 8 years and 6 months?
It is last basic... however you can request your employer to make the higher one in your case... As I was doing flexi my remuneration was exactly half for last three months of my service in the MNC.
