Hi Santhoshraj,
noon Greetings!!!
A job profile is an outline, a high-level overview of a position. It provides only general information about a particular position.
In contrast, a job description/responsibility is a written statement which includes the working conditions, scope, purpose, duties and responsibilities of a job along with the title of the individual to whom the position reports.
For instance:
Job Profile: Graphics Designer for Investment Banking Department
Job Description/Responsibility:
Department: Investment Banking, Mumbai
Reporting to: SVP, Investment Banking
Designation: Manager - Graphics
Key Responsibilities: Designing Corporate PowerPoint Presentations, Co-coordinating with team members and training them, storing presentations
