Hi, Please suggest the best plan with regards to PF. I have worked in two organisations, in my first company i worked for about 2 years and 10 months and worked in second company for about 8 years and one month. So i have worked for 10 years and 11 months. Am i eligible for pension. If am eligible for pension, form when i can avail pension.
Now i want to set up my own business as of now and do not want to work further? Now should i have to withdraw my pension which has been accumulated for nearly 11 years or am i eligible for pension or what kind of action should i have to take so that it might help me further. Please suggest.
Thanks & Regards,
Bhaskar

Dear Mr.Bhaskar,
You are eligible to get pension from the age of 50 years on wards with 2 conditions.
1. You were relieved from PF applicable service.
2. For each year below 58 years, you will lose 4% in pension amount.
To get full pension, you have to wait till completion of the age of 58 years.

Thanks Abbas for answering. As of now i might have to wait for 20 plus years to avail pension to reach 58 years. So, please suggest what are the options available at present ?

Dear Mr.Bhaskar, You have two options. 1. You may either avail reduced pension after completion of 50 years, or 2. Receive full pension on completion of 58 years. Abbas.P.S
