Dear sir, Kindly tell me in my company there are 50 employees and their working hours is 8. but sometimes some of them do work more which is not more than one hour each .. so some of them work 9 hour which counts as their overtime suppose 35 workers worked 8 hours in a day and remaining 15 workers worked 9 hours in a day than how can we calculate mandays?

Dear Saqibhse, If 35 worked for 8 hrs, it is 35 man days. If 15 worked for 9 hrs, it is 15x9/8 = 16.875 man days. (Total 35+16.875 = 51.875 man days). Abbas.P.S

Eight hours of work is considered as a man day, so by calculating the total number of hours and dividing it by eight, the man-days can be calculated

you will have to calculate mandays like below

Arrive at the no of days worked by the company: total days in the month-weekend-national holidays
No.of worked days by the company*No of total employees-no of leave taken

Eg: 31 days in Jan'22-10 weekly off-1 national holiday= 20 working days

Mandays=20*1200-700=23300
