Hello ALL, I am working to create a \"swITch Program\" to \'Empower Young Graduates\' to get an assured job and make them ready for the Corporate world. I will be providing same corporate training program to graduates who miss out campus hiring and give them opportunity to develop the skills. After 6 month regressive training, I will invite corporates to conduct recruitment of these trained candidates in different IT Skills.

Because of this \"swITch Program\", corporates benefit by:

1. save cost on all inhouse training that they provide to campus recruit, fresher salary, trainer salary etc.

2. Reduce time to hire and get skilled persons instead of freshers.

3. since these hire are pre-trained, they immediately start working on projects.

4. Company plan in advance that they will need a resource for a specific skill after 6 - 8 months and by time candidate is prepared, there is a new demand of different skill set due to change in technologies.

5. Company can focus on project and get trained fresher.

6. This program can be customized based on your need.

Do you think, I create this kind of model, will your company will be interested to hire such trained professional from my company. If yes, Can you provide me a letter of interest ? This will help me start this training program and I can invite you for next year campus hire.

""After 6 month regressive training, I will invite corporates to conduct recruitment of these trained candidates in different IT Skills. ""
I hope you meant rigorous training and not really regressive training.
What is the name of your organisation and what is your experience in the corporate world?
What will be the fees for 6 months training?
""Do you think, I create this kind of model, will your company will be interested to hire such trained professional from my company.""

What will be the fees for 6 months training?
The fee will not be charged to the companies, but it will be to candidates. This will vary based on what specialization one opt for this training program. Fee will be more for Business Intelligence vs Dotnet/java.

How is your training different ?
All the training institute are providing training in a specific software and they do not provide end-to-end training that is usually given to a candidate when he join the organization. One candidate need to go to various institute to do multiple courses and there is no one who can guide them what courses to do.
We provide a package training, of 10 - 15 subjects ( Phase 1 focus on basics: MS Office Suite, SDLC, Communication skills, email etiquette, basic of organization hierarchy and few other essential info; Phase 2 will then focus on developing technology specific skills, that can be provided based on candidates interest. Like Data Warehouse, oracle, Business Intelligence, Could Computing, all nextGen skills where we see shortage of good candidates in market;
Phase 3 then focus on working on some sample projects to build their practical experience.)
After the training, one candidate is ready to go any organization and start his work on any projects. ""This is as good as hiring a experience person but on fresher salary.""
you can also think it as a employee factory.

Hello,

Any specific reason(s) why you prefer to charge the candidates rather than the Companies?

That's what the usual IT Training Institutes do--how do you make yourself 'different' from such outfits?

Frankly, the course-work plans you mentioned would look quite good on paper--but in reality selling to the candidates COULD be tough.....or at least take a lot of your time. At the EoD, all they would be keen on is 'will I get a good job with this training'. And, it wouldn't be realistic to expect you to give them 100% assurance on this aspect.

Since you have a good IT background with MNCs, why not tap into their Training budgets? Meaning, why not leverage on "....provide end-to-end training that is usually given to a candidate when he join the organization...." that you mentioned.

In short, sell the idea of the Company out-sourcing their training activities to you. That way, you end-up handling just the Company than a horde of candidates....each with his/her own set of views about the training.

All the Best.

Rgds,
