Extension in service after 60 years as an employee
A person has completed 60 years of age. can he be given an extension of service if yes then for how many years. can the same salary be provided. can p.f. and epf be given. what is the alternative and the best way to extend the services that is beneficial to the employee.

Hi all need a confirmation. everybody know that the retirement age is now 60 years from 58years. is it true that employee after completing 58 years has no need to contribute to pf fund? i mean after 58 years a employee is no need to pay pf till he retires at 60 years. please confirm whether this is true or not? if true please provide me the link of government order g.o of the same. thanks and regards karthik

Dear seniors whether the gratuity is applicable for senior citizens aged more than 58 years .recently our organisation has reappoint one employee aged 60 years after his retirement .

Respected members i am ramkrishna jamsandekar sr. manager hr. i need a clarification under gratuity act. under the payment of gratuity act 1972 is there any maximum age limit for gratuity. generally organizations fixes superannuation age 58 to 60 years. if an employee continued after reaching 60 years whether he is eligible gratuity beyond the retirement service i.e. after 60 years.

The company has the policy of retirement at the age of 60 years and all provisions in books are being made based on this policy and funds with lic of india are also being placed accordingly. what would be the gratuity amount payable to an employee whose services has been extended for 2 years beyond 60 years although company is providing provisions and funds are being placed with lic of india based on 60 years as per company s retirement policy only.during his extended period gratuity has been revised from 10 lac to 20 lac.
