Are you a student or working in a company as a HR?

This topic is widely discussed in this forum. You can search the topic and download some ppt's available here for study. EPF and ESIC websites has the detailed information about the procedure of enrolling and settlement of account.

ESIC and EPF became online. No paper work is required.

You have to collect the form 11 from an employee whoever joins and keep it as record. Fillup those details in the ECR text file while uploading the returns every month for generating payment challan. Once an employee resigns, the details of the resignation should be updated in the ECR while uploading the text file. Employee need to submit the form 19 and 10c to withdraw the EPF and EPS respectively, if contribution is less than 10 years. Otherwise or before he can avail the scheme certificate and keep it for availing pension. Or employee can submit transfer claim application (form 13) online to transfer his pf to the new EPF account.

ESIC employee nomination also being done online any time. Details of attendance and gross salary can be updated by data entry into tye portal or uploading it as excel file. It can be removed by mentioning the reason for that and not required to pay the contribution.
