Human Resource, HR itself is a very vast subject. Hundreds and hundreds books, articles are available in internet in e-form. Go from basics such as the evolution, , growth of Human Resource from the Industrial Revolution of Britain from the World War I onwards. Once you know the fundamentals, basics etc. then you can understand the changes that are taking place in the past two decades, after the IT revolution. Search in CiteHR and generally in internet. Look for with Indian authors so that you will know more about the development and growth of HR with specific focus on India.
Best wishes
