I worked as an senior design engineer (pro-e, catia, solidworks) from 2005-2010. Due to my family situation i left my job in 2010. Now i want to restart my career ,i need an proper guidance from seniors. I am in practice with my software skills , is it enough for me to re-enter or do i need any additional skills to update myself . please suggest do i need any courses to learn for current market trends.
As this is a long gap , if you are willing to get enrolled in any updated course you should, else you may try from that level only with full confidence and energy, as your reason of gap was logical, employers may stuck and may doubt your continuation once again, but still you should have proper and logical answers to reply to interviewers, according to me you may get job as per your expertise in any organsiation looking for your profile,
Best Wishes.
