No. Because owner of the company don't use to carry all his employee details along with him, its better to contact with the concerned person of that company rather than to contact with the owner directly.

It is preferred tat verification should be done with either HR personnel or with respective manager or up to general manager to get most and accurate detail and in case of managerial position it may be with vice president depending on company structure.
