Dear Sir,
I am working as an accountant in a company , here i have seen a situation , that as the april month is the time for increments, but the company has not done any discussions as 2 month has gone, recently all the labour has gone and asked the management for increments, the management replied that we will not give any increments for this year, and they have issued a notice to all the employees regarding that they have wasted their time and due to this companies production has gone loss,fro thsi they are asking explanations to the employees, and the management is ready to issue lawyer notices also to the employees in this concern. So, in this case my question is that is there any law by the government that the company should give increments , or simply the can get excuse and not give increments, as their turnover is also increased by 40% from last year.

The Labour Laws only protects minimum wages for a workmen......increment in salary is a complete management decision....
