I am currently working in amazon in a nonhr role exp 3 months. previously i had 5 months of experience in hr operations role. i also have a mba degree in hr specialization. now i want to shift to a core hr career and contemplating to do a hr certification course prior to that. so i request the experienced folks to kindly suggest me some good certification courses in hr which can be highly rewarding for my career. i also want to know what are the high rewarding areas in hr domain from career point of view.
Gratuity applicability reg
Hi one of my friend had worked for a it company since 2002 till 2013. now he is in a notice period. there was no gratuity paid to any of the employees in that company or there was no such deductions done in the salary payments. the company was registered as limited company and has been having a strength of more than 12nos always since 2005. epf has been deducted from the employees. is the gratuity applicable to the employees? can my friend claim the gratuity amount. or company is not liable to pay gratuity unless it is registered anywhere or deduct salaries for gratuity funds?
Doubt on gratuity
Dear alli hav a doubt in gratuity...actually gratuity will be given to employees who has completed 5 yrs of continuous service... this is stated in the gratuity act 1972.but in it companies gratuity is deducted from the basic salary of the employees... they are deducting 4.81 of hy they are deducting...? gratutiy is one of the benefits of employee provided by the organization. but these it companies are deducting from their employees itself...? whats the reason...please clear me...
We have not been deducting gratuity from employees since inception. now, the gratuity amount is coming to more than 1 crore
Hello all we are a small company with a span of 130 employees. though we have mentioned everything about gratuity in offer letter and employment agreement we have not been deducting gratuity from employees since inception. now the gratuity amount is coming to more than 1 crore which should be paid to employees. what do we do in this case please.
