Hi Friends, I have been training corporates and graduate students. Now, I want to know any innovative methods, games to train the students and evolve the topics. There is a difference between students and employees. Hence the query.

Dear Phanindra

Unless we know what topics you are dealing with, suggesting appropriate games and activities is not possible, even still I will share some of my observations for training students
  • [list:2bbc36c2f8]students will not concentrate beyond 30 mnts.'

activities should involve everyone in the group 'no samples'

Activities which involve showing individual talents is a morale booster

When forming smaller groups look out for the dominant ones and the timid ones, and place them accordingly

Written activities should be avoided to the max.

When you have activities in creativity skills, communication etc, make sure the non participating teams get tasks like observing, assessing etc, if not you will have a lot of BUZZZZZZZing around

If you dont have the time for a lot of individual particpation, give things like crosswords, story building, Ads Zap etc

Be ready with fillers like nine dot exercise, lateral thinking, to keep the ones who have finished the tasks given early, occupied
I hope these tips are useful

Lisa

Dear Lisa,
It was nice. Well the topics are Self Realization, Career Management, Soft Skills and most of the PDs. Your tips will definitely benefit us. But how do we deliver the message without using PPTs or thru games etc.

Dear phanindra You definetly have to use PPTs and games, the more interactive the more livelier. Good Luck Lisa
