I have left my organization 1 month back.
Around 7 months back I had undergone an external training organized by the company.
At the time of training I signed a service level agreement for 1 year.
As per the agreement I\'ll have to pay the full cost of training if I leave before 1 year.
The training was useful for me as well as organization.
Last month when I left I had to pay the complete cost of the training.
Just wanted to know if any such service bond holds legal in India?
If the company has incurred expenditure on specially training an employee,then such reimbursements are legally in order if the offer letter/appointment letter lays down such conditions for giving a job.
