one more attempt. :)
read paddy clarke ha ha ha
Book is about a 10 yr old kid growing in 1960's in Barrytown. Google to get more correct info if interested.
Before you dispose this book as a cliqued boy learning the facts of life kind of book, let me tell you that it isn't completely wrong to say that it is a book about paddy growing up...but it is nothing like you've ever read. If i am correct, more than less, it will tell you about yourself... about ur simple notions on life, your vision of team dynamics, your thought process, your idiosyncrasies when u were small...
its as if the kid is thinking out loud.
Currently reading "Life if PI"

read Sudha murthy's "how i taught my grandmother to read"
short stories, i never knew i would like reading short stories, but i took it as it was written by mrs murthy.
it turned out to be a very good bet.
she has written about incidents that have touched her life... good stories that one feels like sharing with others.
its a good read, absolutely delicious. she has written it for small kids i guess coz the language is very simple and lucid, but i am sure the stories are a classic and is meant for all generations
