If you are from marketing, then hardly this is expected from a marketer. If you are not able to communicate your idea properly on the general forum then how will you influence your customers to buy your product?
If you are sponsoring a training on project management then as a sponsor your major KRA would be business generated through this sponsorship. Business generated has to be related to the cost of sponsorship. Therefore, cost per query would be primary measurement. If this cost is below the average cost per query then the sponsorship was successful. If the cost was higher than the average cost per query then sponsorship was not successful.
Sponsors only sponsor the show or event. They are hardly interested in the outcome of the event. As a sponsor in what way you would be interested how participants of this training use their knowledge? Your primary interest should be on promoting on your product and nothing else.
Lastly, when you say "sponsor", do you mean to say that you are organising a training workshop on the Project Management? In that case your major achievement would be to convert participants into the positive spokesperson of your company. If you achieve that then you are successful.
