Ours is a start up man power consultancy. Apart from me, the owner, there is only one employee works here. primarily we are interested for staffing solutions. But whenever we approach a company they ask for our PF and ESIC no which I do not have as I do not have the minimum required strength of employees for applying for those.
My problem is once I get the first contract I can select staff as per the requirement of the company and then can apply for the said documents. but I should have those to get the contract. How to solve this egg or chic problem? Please help.

1. Sir, the provisions of ESI Act, 1948 and EPF & MPs Act, 1952 are statutory in nature and separate code number cannot be issued to any firm/factory/establishment if the number of employees are less than as required under said enactments. However, you can inform the position to the companies with which your/your employer want to work that if your firm is selected as contractor/assigned work, you can get the registration under above Acts as and when minimum number of employees are engaged by you.
2. In order to comply with the provisions of above Acts till you engage minimum number of employees, you can make compliance on the code numbers/Registration Numbers of the principal employers allotted under above Acts.
