Dear all,
I have joined in my current company as a software engineer with 3 years bond. After completion of my bond period i asked my MD for relieving. He offered me that, if you extend your bond upto 6 months, i'll hike your salary to 100%. But i don't want to continue in the company and asked for reliving on 01-06-2014. He accepted and promised me that, i can relieve from the company on 15-08-2014. And he sent me to out of india and he used me to visit all clients for the same 6 months with my old salary. But i don't want to ask him for hike. I want to get out from this company. So after 6 months i came to office from clients and met my MD. He again asked me that, you should be here for next 1 month and i'll hike your salary to 100% and still am here. He openly said that, if you want to relieve, go. Don't expect experience letter and relieving letter from me.

what can i do ?

My friend asked me to send resignation letter in registered post.

So, i have

1. offer letter of my current company
2. bond papers
3. Bank statements
4. Employee number
5. Registered post acknowledgement of my resignation letter

With above documents shall i move to some other companies if i got any offer ?

please guide me to overcome this situation

Thanks in advance

So you have a choice ?
Your company is unprofessional in its approach in not relieving you on resignation. And of not keeping promise of higher salary.
If you get a job, you should leave. You should speak to the HR of the new company and let them know you re not going to get releasing letter. If they are ok, then move

Thank You for your reply saswatabanaejee. But i have one doubt. If HR of new company accept me without relieving letter, will it be a problem when i wish to move from my new company to next company ?

If HR accept me without relieving letter, what will happen during background verification? Because my current company will not give reference for me.

Both of the above is a problem.
But for that reason alone, will you continue to work for ever with your current company ? If yes, then this thread has no further meaning.
You will need to explain to the HR in the new company that the company you were working for is unprofessional and did not give a relieving letter and that it has a grudge against you. You can prove your working period with them by other means. If the HR is not willing to accept that than don't join such a company
You don't really have a choice then

Your present employer is exercising undue influence on you by holding back certain documents and as a potential danger point by giving poor reference.
This aspect will have to be told to new employer during initial stages itself in clear manner.
From your side send a detailed but polite letter to your employer and give notice of quitting.
Document all your pending works and complete them to extent possible
Give notice as per your existing company policy.
Surrender all company property in writing and in front of witnesses.
Preserve any related correspondence from company side safely.
Keep trying for other jobs.
Dont get pressurised into working for such type of employer whose actions apparently are unethical and pressure techniques.

Thank you for your valuable replies. So i am going to send resignation mail and leave the company without relieving letter.
I have no other option. have to explain in detail with proof to my new employer.
Thank you all

Shibumass,
That appears to be only way out.
But ensure there are no dues from your side to company and no property of company whatsoever is held with you.Return it under written documentation duly acknowledged so that later on company does not have any issue to threaten your happiness.
Send copies of your letter to higher management as well as HR and your manager also.
Best of luck.
