Dear friends and CiteHR ,

Its in our benefit to make long term study plan to know basics and fundamentals in various HR/ IR courses. It may not be possible to stay in field , perform consistently without Self help. Its true like Law of Nature we observe in real life and furthermore to rise high and grow professionally successful , agile , confident in HR/ ER by practicing in a short cut method is a process but not advisable..

Please read on Neutralization of dearness due to price hike.Concept is that employees are getting wages/ salary at certain constant rates and assumptions. The price hike on certain minimum consumption of stuffs like Rice, flour, potato, onion etc do not allow meet ends of daily needs of family members. You will find Consumer Price Index, a factor that has been analysed to reach close to price hike City wise. HR professionals must do careful study and keep abreast with this model and also about ILOs which has basic and elementary needs, genesis and process of discipline that has allowed growth of Labour legislations- way to resolve grievances in India. CiteHR has a plan to host this type of event for benefit of HR practioners , is requested to organize orientation programme for our colleagues to learn practices prevailing across country and out across globe.

As said by Shri Rdsyadav, basic salary is the mean amount required to carry on the business and to live, dearness allowance is the consequence of enhance the performance also to live in the cosumer price index with appropriate value. All other allowances follow like HRA, travelling allowance, additional pay contribution in excelling the given service/work, motivating the employee for better performance..thus basic salary is the amount given to employee for performance with living for the service/work this is the fundamental amount introduces you to the work..

Dear ALL,
Suppose the company is paying Rs. 10000 as Gross Salary. Then the calculation will go as follows:
ESI CONRIBUTION (Both for employer and employee) = Rs650 (475+175)
Basic Salary (50% of Gross Salary) = Rs 5000
D.a (50% of Basoc Salary) =Rs 2500
Travelling Allowance =Rs 1850, These all make in total Rs10000.
Am I right???
Regards
Tanya
