Hi,

My organization is facing problems in linking my UAN umber to the current PF account number. Reason has been cited as "incorrect KYC" information.

The KYC provided by my previous employer(which is linked to UAN) is incorrect. The document used for KYC is the bank account where account number is correct but IFSC code is incorrect. Tried to resolve this by taking below steps;

Step 1: Asked my previous employer to change my IFSC code(as per my account) since they are still being represented as current member id in UAN profile
Result: They confirmed IFSC code should not be an issue for linking the current (new) PF account number to UAn by the employer

Step 2: I uploaded PAN card and asked them to approve it, assuming PAN card details would match on both sides and linking would be completed
Result: They have not yet approved my KYC document and have said they cannot approve it because i have left the company

Step 3: Left with no choice i have asked previous employer again to modify IFSC code as it doesnot match with the account number (as per cheque leaf)
Result: No response yet

I would like to know what options do i have my current PF linked to UAN. My problem "current member id" is reflecting as the PF number from previous employer.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi Eigen01, If you are not able to visit previous employer physically to fix the issue or they are not responding over mail or phone take help of professionals like Akosha.com

Eigeno1, Nandi has rightly said, Akosha may help to solve the issue, however you may consider resubmitting the form by ensuring all the fields are correct, especially like IFSC code, this code is mandatory to accommodate transaction accurately. While submitting double check your bank details along with bank account number and ifsc code, you are better of using Myifsccodes.com to do this right.
