the OD interventions can be in any and all areas / functions or deppts. of an organisation where things are required to be overhauled.
for e.g
HR OD interventions will include Performance appraisals, Performance managment systems, forms, etc. competency mapping in specific functionary departments or across the departments like engg., IT, Fin, etc. Training needs assessment, process improvement study, etc.
the above are some OD interventions that the respective companies undergo with the help of expert consultants.

The OD intervention is basically carried out in the organization when you want to re-develop the organization or wants to make the process more effective and improve the overall productivity.
The different OD intervetions are as below:
Group intervention
Team Building intervention
Small group building intervention
T-Group intervention
Broad team building intervention
1-4 T system intervention (Likert's intervention)
Many more intervention are there.
If you want to have detailed knowledge about OD intervention then please refer the Book "OD intervention" by French and Bell.
