I am in probation period for six month with an MNC and due to some personal reasons I have resigned from my position after one month. I haven't talked to the HR till now but my manager is not accepting my resignation and he is saying that he will not leave me after my notice period which is 30 days. I am already serving my notice period of 30 days as per my offer letter and terms of employment.
I am feeling depressed. can somebody help me and let me know what legal action they can take against me if I stop coming when my notice period will over.

Talk to the HR Manager, if he / she also is not responding, refer to the company policy regarding termination. Your offer letter shall also have a termination clause, abide by them. Send a E - mail mentioning the details of your Resignation and CC to the HR and Top management. This E - mail shall be sufficient proof, for defending your case. No one can compell an employee to serve after the notice period.
