Dear Raji,

Are you a student or professional? Why have you raised this query? Are you conducting any study? Has your manager given any task to you?

Employee retention is linked to employee attrition. Have you conducted study of why employees quit the company? In this connection, you may check my following reply:

you need to adopt a comprehensive strategy to retain employee.
This process should start right from recruitment , there should be proper hand holding, they should be trainer well. Initial period of 6 months is the most crucial time for retention.
Once they are done with orientation process and are on the job you need to monitor their progress . They should be rewarded well. Your compensation levels should be bench-marked with the industry you operate in. Proper Reward and recognition programs should be in place .
