Yes HR dept is very important, becos we all know that a company has it HR dept, where in, that dept. has it responsibility to interview applicants who is willing to apply in a certain company.

Good Evening , Now a days organizations may be similar in various respect like infrastructure, Technology etc. but if we compare human resources of two organization then its different. The main role of HRD department is to manage human resource of their company which is critical part of Organization Structure.
Usually an HR is medium between management and employees. Hr role is not only associated to payroll, recruitment and administrative activities.however it also comprises of to understand the business requirement and to implement strategies for success and growth of organization. HR requires to participate in various management decisions.
In my opinion workforce are very important assets for growth of organization. So its important to understand their needs and make them satisfied. Hence here comes an important role of HR department where they need to flash a light on the problems of workforce and to resolve them at the best.

Its require for HR Dept. to maintain a good interpersonal relationship with employees so that they will not hesitate to come up with new ideas and their problems related to work environment. -Garima HR

It all depends on the type of company you are looking at. If it is MNC, then they would say that the HR Department is absolutely essential. On contrary, if the company is run of traditional business community, they may think otherwise.

you should say, is it really important to have thinking ability when you have head or just the head would be enough ? i am not being sarcastic in here, but just emphasizing the point, head is very much visible but not the mind, likewise having human force is easy but not the coordination among them, when you have water force it is natural to dig a ground or fix the pump set and lay the pipelines to derive the water towards the requirement and for its proper utilisation, likewise, utilization of human resource in a right manner for right purpose has to be planned and coordinated well..... this is what we precisely called human resource management....

A company's standard will be set by HR department. No company can be developed without an HR Department. Moreover, the standard and quality of the organisation depends upon the HR department. A quality HR contributes to qualitative company.

People will be observed through their answers in every question which will be given to them. These questions and answers are very much related to the person’s character and ability to respond to problems that would arise in the company; if there is any. Aside from knowing the people first hand, they have other duty which is subject to every company’s rule. Another thing they do is develop, advice and implement policies of the company. People who would do irregular things outside the norms of the company is subject to sanctions. These sanctions and misbehaviors are also evaluated by HR personnel.

Yes it Is, because apart from these people the whole company are useless. They are the one who supply the necessary personnel needed in a certain company.
