Dear all please tell me to which type of industries is esi and pf applicable. if it a new company and has around 50 employees it manufactures a kind of electronic device that is fitted with motors. is pf and esi necessary to be given to its employees? and what is the procedure registration etc for the same. waiting for your kind replies. ankita maheshwari mba hr
Statutory norms!!
Dear all presently we are in financial year ending we are revising the employees ctc package. for a past 8 months we are not engaged in pf & esi contribution because the employees strength was low but with in 2 months our strength gonna increase so we are in situation to enter in to statutory norms. i need to prepare a break up for pf & esi. kindly help me out with from till esi value ... from where pf has to deductand how about da?? da percentage??? its very urgent ...help me out with this confusion..
25k pf/esi applicable or not? bonus applicable? employee says he won't deduct anything
The employee joined with firm 9 years back and 8k in hand and got esi and pf. he left the firm in 1 year and took out all his pf contributions. future firms did not provide him afterward as per checked by his uan. now he came back to the 1st firm for the job and wishes to join for a 23k salary. now the firm has to give him or not? because the firm wants to give 23k ctc but the employee wants to join at inhand 23k. so the confusion is if: 1. if is mandatory even now then the employee says he won t deduct anything from his account and firm ctc would be very high to the rate of 23k pf 1.8k1.8k esi. 2. he says he doesn t need pf/esi cuz he has nil balance in his account and hence firm doesn t need to increase ctc. firm needs employees but doesn t want to increases its cost burden. i hope i was able to explain the issue if not clear please respond and i will try to clear it. also he says he will join only if yearly bonus is given but firm said bonus is only given if salary is under 21k. employee says bonus is for every employee and not fair if not given to him. firm is confused cause he is the only person with highest salary for the firm.
Is pf and esi deduction necessary?
Hi i am working in an it company and we are deducting pf and esi of our employees from last nine months.now my employer wants not to deduct the pf and esi of employees any more.now my question is 1 is deduction of pf and esi necessary for an iso standardised company? 2 if not then is there any way of getting out of pf and esi? 3 is there any benefit to an employer of paying pf and esi to employees. 4 we are 25 employees in our company so if we will make it less than 20 can we come out of pf and esi as we are already paying it. waiting for kind and positive reply? thks & regards meenakshi

Pf deduction from employee (12%)
Dear senior i have little confusion about pf deduction from employee because in our organisation one of the employee s basic has 9600 n not deducted his pf from employee. 1.pls clarify me why not deducted pf from his salary? 2.i heard somewhere about pf which employees salary exceeds 6400 then will not deduct his pf...is it right? 3. but in 2nd question i have little confusion 6400 is taken basic or pf amt? kindly clarify regards
