Can a company bind an employee to stay in an organization fo
Yes or no.an employee went to on ojt to usa and for that he had signed two years bond and if he wants to leave in the middle then he has to pay two lakhs rupees so i want to ask is there any way by which he can escape this bond and leave the organization? can he defend himself in the court of law? if the company files a suit against him? will his career get effected by any way? provide the solution as soon as possible

Dear neha there are various types of leave for various purposes which can be given to your employees. it is not very clear from your question whether your organisation already have leave policy or not. one thing you must clear in your leave policy that what ever leave policy is there in your organisation it can be claimed as a matter of right. the sanctioning authority can at his/her discretion refuse or revoke any leave when exigencies of service so require. i.e. an employee already on sanctioned leave may be recalled by the sanctioning authority if considered necessary in the interest of the service. regards

I am working in a organisation as asst manager hr. though my corecompetencies are recruitment and training i have recently taken up job in hr. by education i am mba in hr. recently in my organisation my colleague applied for leave. however due to exigency in the organisation her leaves were not granted. director wanted me to send a mail saying asking for leave is only an entitlement and its not a right. want to understant if asking for leave is an entitlement or it is a right of an employee :

Resignation after maternity leave
