Hi,

I just quit my job one month before due to several reason which are listed below:

1) Crediting salary out of date (Bank statements are with me to prove). Please note that still they are not providing salary to employees at the corrrect date. if needed, I can tale their statements also.

2) No facilities provided : I was an experienced employee and I join this institution by hearing their false promises. They said they are moving to new office within a week while I join the organisation . I saw they are not moving and I waited 2-3 months and it never happend. There we re no chairs, No security etc and i used to be afraid most of the night time due to this

3) Mental torture : the CEO of the office keep going on totruring me on the job. Also there are few person who put notice period and the CEO told them he wont give good certificate, experience certificate etc (I have whatsapp chat of this)

4) There are other reasons like false promise of incentive (He didnt introduced any incentive plan till now to any employees till now)

After having all these mental torture I quit the job and I left. Now they have send one legal notice to me that i should pay them 5,00,000 INR. Is this legally valid. Can I go against the employer for toturing me mentally and not giving salary on time?

Please advise!!

Thanks
Stop over-reacting. First tell us if you submitted your resignation and was it accepted. What are the Terms and Conditions of service mentioned in your appointment letter. And lastly, about the 'Legal Notice', Is it on the company letter head or it is sent by an Advocate???
